Burlap Open Mesh Jute is the most cost effective solution to slope and culverts erosion. Soil Erosion can be a serious problem, resulting in damage to water sources and in somecases the failture of the solpe resulting in landslides.  Repairing these damages can be difficulttime consuming and expensive. Burlap helps stabilize the slope preventing soil loss due to rain, and wind and creates an ideal condition for maximum seed germination with the quick establishment of vegtation aided by Geo-Jute Highmoisture absorption, up to five times (5x) its own weight and will last for about one (1) year. Burlap should be installed over a properly prepared, fertilized and seeded area.  Make sure the ‘mesh’ is in contact with the soil over the entire area and secred with Pins or Pegs every 2′ horizontally and 3′ vertically. Burlap can also be used for Shrub Wrap and Wind Break.
